We Serve Single Moms In Need
Currently, the Making Miracles program has two homes that can house moms and their children. One home is intended for single moms that are pregnant and/or have a child under the age of 3. The other home can accommodate single moms with children under the age of 9. The residents in each home cook meals together, have Bible studies together, and truly become a family. Each resident has a guaranteed safe place to rest their heads at night as well as resources to ensure that she and her child(ren) are taken care of.
Employment and Child Care
Each resident in the MMGH program will secure employment and can receive help from our staff to make sure they are adequately prepared (resume writing help, for example). Additionally, children will become established with a trusted childcare provider in the area that can supervise and care for the kids while their mother is at work. Making Miracles also helps with transportation so moms and children can get where they need to be.
Connections to Local Resources
We also ensure that our residents are established with local resources that they need ranging from medical care, visits to ECHO, budgeting classes, and more. Each of these programs are to ensure that every mom is equipped with the skills they need to prepare for independence.
