With our one-year program at Making Miracles Group Home, we teach values and skills necessary for a successful life filled with caring, contribution, and commitment. We empower each young mother at our home with:

- The value of accepting obstacles as challenges and not barriers
Our Making Miracles Program
Our Making Miracles program provides the following:
- Housing for up to one year at no cost
- 8 moms can stay in the current house (if they are pregnant or have a child under 3)
- Budgeting classes, assistance with finding a job, preparing a resume, and learning how to prep for interviews and dress for the job
- Directing clients to resources if they are in need of counseling
- Helping clients get established with medical care (finding an OB, helping with Medicaid application, etc.)
- Helping clients with childcare enrollment
- Transportation to doctor’s appointments, job interviews, grocery stores
- Helping clients apply for food stamps
- Each client is paired with a mentor during the whole process who can also keep in touch with them after the duration of the program if they’d like
A big part of the day-to-day ministry at Making Miracles Group Home is about teaching our young moms critical life disciplines for independent living, such as:
- Creating and keeping a budget
- Individual and shared chores
- Holding a job
- Managing childcare
- Maintaining personal house standards
- Going to church every Sunday
- Getting off government assistance
- Standing on your own two feet

Eligibility for Our Program
At Making Miracles Group Home, we don’t have many requirements for women to be eligible to stay with us. Our only requirements include women:
- Facing homelessness
- With children 2 years or under
